‘Meri Aawaz Suno’ Showcased At 43rd Annual Function of Choithram School, Manik Bagh

The 43rd Annual Function of Choithram School, Manik Bagh on the theme ‘Meri Aawaz Suno’ voicing the children’s lost childhood and their searching for their reaches, passion and interests was portrayed on December 6, 2016. The Managing Trustee of T. Choithram Foundation, Mr. Satish P. Motiani was the chief guest at the function. The programme commenced with Welcome Song followed by Vandana depicting obeisance to the Almighty. Narrators decked up as Lord Krishna and Narad beautifully wove the entire theme. A glittering bonanza of skits, dances depicting carefree life, hidden desires, mime and street play were staged. Brij Raas depicting Lord Krishna’s childhood was enticing. The message by Lord Krishna in his Virat Roop to the parents, present education system and students was the soul of the function. The other mesmerizing performances of the evening were rendition of Qaawali by school choir and rhapsody by the school orchestra.

Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi briefed the audience about the philosophy of school. Principal’s annual report highlighting the academic achievements of the school students was read by School Head Boy Sajal Neema while Nutan Keswani, the School Head Girl enumerated the cultural achievements of the school students. Report on international achievements and intercultural learning was read by Astha Vijaywargiya, School Deputy Head Girl.

The award for the best student of the year for the session 2015 – 2016 was bagged by Sanjana Rathi. Anishka Raje Silawat received the Best Sportsperson in the girls’ category while Krishna Patel received the Best Sportsperson award in the boys’ category. School toppers of Commerce, Science, Business Administration and Humanities stream of class XII Board examination for the session 2015 – 2016 – Isha Dixit, Pratyush Dubey, Nishith Nahar and Nilesh Chhatiya were also felicitated. Students who won laurels at the various national level competitions during the present academic session 2016 – 2017 were also feted. School Cultural Prefect Vinay Dawani proposed the vote of thanks.

Vibrant Display of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam’ In 42nd Annual Function of the School

The 42ndAnnual Function of the school showcasing the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam’ i.e, ‘the world is a family’, was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. The Managing Trustee of T. Choithram Foundation, Mr. Satish P. Motiani was the chief guest at the coruscating function. The programme commenced with the melodious voices of the students, welcoming the guests. Through Vandana the students paid obeisance to the Almighty. The zealous students of CBSE-i presented Alice in the Wonderland and transported the audience to the world of fantasy. The vibrancy with which the story was conceptualized through props and dance captivated the crowd. Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi briefed the audience about inter cultural learning, global exposure and the philosophy of the school.

Principal’s annual report highlighting the cultural achievements of the school students was read by School Head Boy Divyam Maheshwari while Princy Maheshwari, School Head Girl enumerated the academic achievements of the school students. An array of scintillating dance performances of countries, viz. Turkey, Canada, UK, Italy, Germany, USA, Hungary and France mesmerized everyone and made the audience feel as if they were on a world tour. Patriotism towards the country portrayed through the French song highlighted the loyalty and martyrdom of the armed forces and moved our hearts to tears. ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ presented by Montessori stole the show. The ball dance added great elan as enthusiastic students danced on the floor with grace and poise. The most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause was the Hip Hop dance and Orchestra which had peppy songs with a blend of taqila and fusion music.

The award for the best student of the year for the session 2014 – 2015 was bagged by Shreyash Jain. Nandini Choudhary received the Best Sportsperson in the girls’ category while Mangal Sagitla received the Best Sportsperson award in the boys’ category. School toppers of Commerce, Science and Humanities stream of class XII Board examination for the session 2014 – 2015 along with students in bracket of top 0.1% scorers in the country in various subjects were also felicitated. Students who won laurels at the various national level competitions during the present academic session 2015 – 2016 were also feted. ‘India- A land where history echoes itself with all its wonders ’ – Annual Function Celebrated With Glitz In Choithram School, Manik Bagh

 The 41st Annual Function of Choithram School, Manik Bagh was celebrated on December 10, 2014 with glitz and glory portraying the theme ‘Rediscovering India’. Mr. Satish Motiani, Managing Trustee of T. Choithram Foundation was the chief guest at the function. The alfresco of Choithram turned aesthetic with the melodious welcome song. As the daylight lingered on into the fragrance of twilight, the three deities Durga, Saraswati and Laxmi were invoked by the junior girls through ‘Vandana.’

The entire function was in the flash back narrated by the living legend, the Himalayas, standing tall in splendour, radiant in myth and mystique and witness of the rise and fall of empire. India’s glorious saga of various invasions, struggles for freedom and technological progress was presented through five periods of Chanakya era, Mughal era, Revolt of 1857, Gandhian era and present day India. The celebration dance of the  victory of Chandragupta Maurya with the words of wisdom by Chanakya, religious movement ‘Din-e-Ilahi’ formulated by Emperor Akbar, spirit and emotions in the revolt of 1857 led by Rani Laxmibai and India’s independence movement started by Mahatma Gandhi from British rule were enacted with precision and perfection. The vibrant tiny tots exhibited the modern India’ society as well as the technological and agricultural advancement made by India. The presentation of Jallianwala Bagh massacre during Baisakhi festival and the Non Co-operation movement made the audience realize the worth of hard earned freedom. A potpourri of religion, history and legend was reflected when the classics presented ‘Kathak’ dance. This was followed by ‘Qawwali’ which was the celestial paradise on a clear night. The moods evoked by these presentations transcended the barriers of culture and language. Touching the saffron strings of priceless freedom, the elegantly extended cultural extravaganza ended with the saga of master strokes played by the amalgamation of musical and nostalgic melodies in Orchestra comprising of nearly 120 students.

Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi in his inspiring speech briefed the audience with the philosophy of the school, inculcation of life skills and value based education, global citizenship and plethora of activities conducted in the school. The award for the best student of the year for the session 2013– 2014 was bagged by Soumya Ajmera.  Somya Kabra and Shravan Jain received the Best Sportsperson in the girls’ and boys’ category respectively. School toppers of Commerce, Science and Humanities stream of class XII Board examination for the session 2013 – 2014 were also felicitated. Students who won laurels at the various national level competitions during the present academic session 2014– 2015 were also feted. SAARC Culture Showcased In Annual Function Of Choithram School, Manik Bagh

The 40th Annual Function of Choithram School, Manik Bagh showcasing a vibrant display of the theme ‘SAARC Culture Galore’ portraying the colours of eight countries of SAARC was celebrated with alacrity on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. The Managing Trustee of T. Choithram Foundation, Mr. Satish P. Motiani was the chief guest at the glittering function. The programme commenced with Welcome Song of Love and Harmony in French followed by senior girls paying obeisance to the Almighty. The tiny tots of Montessori rejuvenated everyone with their energizing dance performances showcasing a vista of a peaceful world. Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi briefed the audience about global exposure, teacher empowerment workshops, introduction of various clubs in enhancing the core competency levels of the students as well as the inculcation of life skills. Principal’s annual report highlighting the academic achievements of the school students was read by School Head Boy Ravi Agarwal while Somya Ajmera, School Head Girl enumerated the cultural achievements of the school students. An array of scintillating dance performances of all eight SAARC countries, viz, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka along with their culture bonanza recharged everyone. ‘The Story of Lord Buddha’ was enacted by CBSE-i students. The other mesmerizing performances of the evening were rendition of ‘The World is a family’ song by the school choir and rhapsody by the school orchestra.

Mahima Bhati and Mehak Yadav received the Best Sportsperson in the girls’ category while Ravi Choudhary received the Best Sportsperson award in the boys’ category. The programme commenced with Welcome Song in French followed by junior girls paying obeisance to the Almighty through Durga Stuti. The tiny tots of Montessori rejuvenated everyone with their energizing Arabian, Hip Hop, Samba, Bhangra and Salsa dance recitals. Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi briefed the audience about teacher empowerment workshops, global exposure, introduction of various clubs in enhancing the core competency levels of the students as well as the efficacious role played by the alumni of the school.
