Dear Delegates,

My name is Jayesh Agarwal and it is with great pleasure that I welcome you, on behalf of the UNSC chairing team, to the first iteration of Choithram MUN.

As your Vice-Chair, I will do my best to ensure that the views of all delegates are heard and respected. The best part about being a UNSC delegate is that you get the opportunity to create resolutions that are actually binding. I expect each delegate to come to the conference with a thorough understanding of his or her country’s positions and a willingness to forge agreements. Be assured that the agenda for this year’s committee – Advancing Human Security Through Artificial Intelligence, will surely make you think wise and twice.

Now for a little bit about myself, I am a 10th grader and want to pursue my career in Maths and Science. Like any teenager I have my goals still waiting to get the right opportunity. The preparation of NTSE has made me believe in the power of the African Principle of ‘Ubuntu.’ Curious? Google it. A foodie at heart, I celebrate my undefined love for Italian, subs and chocolates. With a penchant for gaming and watch sci-fi movies, I am also fond of playing badminton.

I look forward to meeting each one of you, debating on critical issues, and most importantly, have plenty of fun doing so!
