“Small actions, when multiplied by many, can transform the world.”
To promote awareness about the environment and related concerns, we celebrated World Environmental Health Day with our Senior Montessori children. As part of the celebration, two parents from each section were invited to participate in the event. Together, students and parents presented creative and informative performances aimed at spreading environmental awareness.
Each group, comprising two parents and two children, showcased themes such as Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, conserving water and energy, planting trees, and protecting wildlife and natural habitats. Through engaging props, costumes, and short role-plays, they effectively conveyed important environmental messages. Parents enthusiastically collaborated with the children in designing props and actively participating in the presentations.
Some of the event highlights included energy superheroes, skits on saving water, tips on caring for animals, and a step-by-step demonstration on growing plants. Both children and parents confidently shared meaningful messages about caring for the environment. The audience children actively participated by cheering and engaging in interactive activities. They also thoroughly enjoyed the games organized by the parents, making the celebration lively, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone.
