Students of Grade 4 took part in an engaging video conference with their peers from Al Khor International School, Qatar, centered on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action. During the session, students from both schools interacted enthusiastically, sharing insights into how their institutions are working toward combating climate change.

A group of 12 young leaders showcased their creativity by designing posters on Canva based on the theme of Climate Action. Through these presentations, they highlighted practical and impactful steps that individuals and schools can adopt to protect the environment.

The students emphasized various eco-friendly practices, including tree plantation drives, reducing plastic usage, encouraging recycling, conserving electricity, and raising awareness about environmental protection. The partner school also presented inspiring sustainability initiatives undertaken on their campus. Additionally, students created short videos demonstrating activities such as planting trees, recycling or donating clothes and plastic, and conserving water.

The mentors commended the students for their dedication and thoughtful contributions. This enriching exchange offered a valuable platform for students from two different countries to learn from each other, share ideas, and reinforce their commitment to protecting the planet.
