Western Dance Extravaganza at Choithram School

Choithram School hosted a mesmerizing Inter-School Western Dance Event for Montessori kids on October 14, 2023, that brought together 13 renowned schools of the city. The event began with great zest and excitement with an energetic welcome dance by the exuberant children of Nursery and Junior Montessori of the host school. Thereafter, the participants, dressed in colourful costumes, set the stage on fire with their enthralling and energetic performance. The enthusiasm and dedication of the children were truly remarkable. Anushree Goyal, a distinguished figure in the world of dance and the event’s chief guest, congratulated the participants and appreciated the performances. The Western Dance Event served as a shining example of the positive effects of arts education in early childhood. It showcased how a love for dance and music can help children develop essential life skills while having a lot of fun.

Inter School Group Fancy Dress Event

Inter School Group Fancy Dress Event was organised in Primary Wing of Choithram School on November 23, 2022. The event was headed by the school Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi. Over five renowned schools of Indore i.e. The Emerald Heights International School, Prestige Public School, Chameli Devi Public School, Tirathbai Kalachand School and host school Choithram School participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The event began with a welcome dance followed by the presentations by the participants on the theme ‘environmental degradation’. Young kids of different schools gave their best and came up with various means by which we can Save Mother Earth and spread awareness about it. The participants of all the schools captivated the hearts of audience through their graceful acts and colourful attires. A positive and charming aura was created with the charismatic performances of kids. The event was made memorable by presenting participation certificates and gift hampers to all the lovely kids followed by motivational words by the judges. The culminating song presented by school choir was mesmerizing.

Inter School Dance Drama Event For Students of Classes III to V

Inter School Dance Drama was organised in Junior School for classes 3 to 5 on October 18, 2022 on the theme ‘Mythology’. Ms. Sanjana Namjoshi and Dr. Ashish Pillai were the esteemed judges of the event. Renowned schools of the city participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm. The school choir presented a melodious welcome song followed by Krishna Vandana. The participants of all the schools captivated the hearts of audience through their graceful performances. Performances of New Digamber Public School, Pragya Girls School, Prestige Public School and Choithram School were adjudged as the best presentations. The judges congratulated the winners and showered their blessings through words of wisdom.

Inter School Western Dance Event For Montessori Children

In the string of celebrating the Golden Jubilee Year of Choithram School, Inter School Western Dance Event was organized for Montessori children on October 15, 2022. Mrs. Ruchi Nandedkar and Mr. Akshat Agrawal, alumni of the school were the chief guests of the event. The event was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the chief guests followed by a welcome dance by the tiny tots of Montessori. Enthusiastic participation by 12 schools; Prestige Public School, St. Mary Champions School, Sri Sri Ravisankar Vidya Mandir, Vidhyanjali International School, The Millennium School, Kids College, Ryan International School, Queens’ College, Delhi Public School, Sanmati Higher Secondary School, Golden International and the host Choithram School, mesmerized the audience. Gift hampers and certificates were presented to all the participants for their enthralling performances.

Inter School Folk Dance Event was hosted by Choithram School under the aegis of ‘Reverberations’ for the students of classes I & II on February 19, 2020. Different renowned schools including Delhi Public School, Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar, The Millennium School, Prestige Public School, Tirathbai Kalachand School, NDPS and Choithram School, Manik Bagh staged spectacular dance performances in the event. Children dressed in colorful costumes swayed to the beats of folk music and their scintillating dances enthralled the audience. The performers were acknowledged with certificates and gift hampers.

The event was judged by Mr. Chetan Shah, Mr. Ashish Pillai and Ms. Vidhi Nagar. The presentations of New Digamber Public School, Sri Sathya Sai VidyaVihar, Delhi Public School and host school – Choithram School were adjudged as the best presentations of the event.

Inter School Indian Folk Dance Event

Choithram School hosted Interschool Folk Dance Event on September 7, 2019 under the aegis of Reverberations with 10 leading schools battling it out on stage with intricate steps, graceful moves and pulsating beats. The panel of sagacious judges included Dr. Santosh Desai, renowned kathak dancer, Ms. Vidhi Nagar and Ms. Rekha Malviya. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the judges and the School Principal, followed by a scintillating welcome dance. Captivating performances from Golden International School, The Emerald Heights International School, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Vidyasagar School, National Public School, Tirathbai Kalachand School, Choithram School, North Campus, Prestige Public School, New Digamber Public School and host school Choithram School, Manik Bagh stole the show. Rhythmic movements, colourful attires and stylized gestures of the dancers reverberated the atmosphere. Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Choithram School, North Campus, Golden International School and Prestige Public School were adjudged as the best performers.

Mr Lander Gaztelumendi SM, Principal of Santa Maria Del Pilar High School Marianistas, Spain was the Chief Guest of the event. The stage came alive when the students of Tiratbai Kalachand School, Choithram School, North Campus, Medicaps School, Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar, Prestige Public School and Choithram School, Manik Bagh staged spectacular dances in the event. Attractive costumes, fluid dance movements and fascinating props and well-choreographed performances were the highlights of the programme. The Chief Guest acknowledged the performers by presenting them certificates and gift hampers.

The event was judged by Mr. Kapil Purohit and Mr. Rajesh Sharma, well known musicians of the city. Inter School TV Show Hosted By Choithram School

To unleash the potential and passion of the students, Choithram School, Manik Bagh hosted an Inter School TV Show under the aegis of ‘Reverberations’ on August 18, 2018. The event witnessed the creative genius of the students involving thinking and producing processes. Dr. Ragini Makkhar, a renowned kathak dancer was the guest of honour of the event. Mr. Rahul Bharade, art director and visiting faculty EMRC, DAVV as well as Mr. Ashish Pillai, notable classical dancer were the judges for the event. The event started with the Shiv Vandana to invoke the deity for the blessings followed by presentations by 12 prestigious schools of the city. The participant schools were Choithram School, North Campus, The Emerald Heights International School, Golden International School, Tirathbai Kalachand Higher Secondary School, Vidhyanjali International School, Standard Public School, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Queens’ College, New Digamber Public School, The Millennium School, Sanmati Higher Secondary School and host school Choithram School, Manik Bagh.

A potpourri of music and dance captivated the audience with the magnificent performances. The TV anchors with their appealing anchoring skills compelled the audience to stay tuned to the show. The hilarious acts including advertisement, skit and discourse added flavour to the creative spectacle while the classical dance performances displayed the pouring of mind, spirit and emotions of the students. The best three presentations were bagged by The Emerald Heights International School, New Digamber Public School and Choithram School, Manik Bagh.

Talented participants from Tirathbai Kalachand School, Queens’ College, The Millennium School, Choithram School, North Campus, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Medicaps International School, Prestige Public School and host school Choithram Manik Bagh participated in the event. The performers from the participating schools mesmerized the audience with their skillful performance of folk dances from different states of the country. Ms. Gillian Fraser, Global Citizenship Co-ordinator and Ms. Ellen Siv, Foundation stage teacher of Stoke Row C.E. Primary School, UK were the Chief Guests for the event. The Chief Guests gave away the certificates of participation and gift hampers to all the performers of the day.

Talented participants from Emerald Heights International School, Queens’ College, Standard Public School, Indus World School, Jhalaria, Indus World School, Central Campus, New Digamber Public School, Tirathbai Kalachand School and Choithram School, Manik Bagh participated in the competition. The choir from the participating schools mesmerized the audience with their skillful performance of folk songs from different states of the country. The competition was judged by renowned musicians of the city, Mr. Kapil Purohit and Mr. Anup Pawar. The teams were judged for selection of the song, presentation, pronunciation, coordination, melody and rhythm. Presentations of New Digamber Public School, Queens’ College, Tirathbai Kalachand School and Choithram School, Manik Bagh were adjudged as best performances.
