Each section of class 8 was divided into seven groups and each group researched about one aspect of the culture of Russia viz.

- family relationships, important traditions/beliefs/rituals, celebration of weddings dance, music
- cuisine, occupations

Students thereafter prepared a scrap book in class and showcased their work in front of their peers and later in an exhibition in the assembly area.
