Exploring the Rich Culture of Finland
The students and teachers were immersed in the rich culture of Finlandin the morning assembly of February 23, 2024. Grade 6 students showcased traditional Finnish folk dance, beautifully sang the ‘Happoradio’ song of Finland, and presented contemporary instrumental music of Finland. Students were provided the opportunity to learn dance, vocal music, and instrumental music of these countries during their CCA Performing Arts periods.
An exhibition displayed a variety of art pieces, including Finnish folk art pattern paintings, Finland paper stars, and abstract style clay toys; all created skillfully by grade 6 students. These impressive artworks were produced during the students’ Visual Arts CCA sessions, demonstrating their commitment and enthusiasm.

TERM I- Class VI
Immersion into the Culture of Madhya Pradesh
The students and teachers got an insight into the culture of Madhya Pradesh during the morning assembly of September 27, 2023 as grade 6 students performed Malwi Badhai folk dance from Madhya Pradesh, beautifully sang the ‘Nimadi’ folk song and presented an instrumental piece of music inspired by the Nimadi folk song. They had the opportunity to learn dance, vocal music, and instrumental music of these states during their CCA Performing Arts periods.
On October 4, 2023, the exhibition showcased a range of art pieces, including Gond art paintings, Bagh printing craft work, and pot making from Madhya Pradesh, all expertly created by grade 6 students. These remarkable artworks were accomplished during the students’ Visual Arts CCA periods, highlighting their dedication and passion.

The students and teachers were immersed in the culture of Vietnam in the morning assembly of February 23, 2024. Grade 7 students showcased Vietnamese fan dance, beautifully sang the folk song of Vietnam, and presented a piece of traditional instrumental music of Vietnam. Students were provided the opportunity to learn dance, vocal music, and instrumental music of these countries during their CCA Performing Arts periods.
An exhibition displayed a variety of art pieces, including Vietnam silk paintings,traditional lacquer craft, andsurahi made of clay; all created skillfully by grade 7 students. These impressive artworks were produced during the students’ Visual Arts CCA sessions, demonstrating their commitment and enthusiasm.

TERM I- Class VII
Immersion into the Culture of Mizoram
During the morning assembly on September 27, 2023, the students and teachers gained a deep understanding of Mizoram’s culture. This was made possible by the grade 7 students, who performed the ‘Dawhzawm lam – Mizo contemporary folk dance,’ sang the ‘Mizo Ka Ni’ song, and presented a traditional instrumental music piece from Mizoram. These activities allowed them to explore dance, vocal music, and instrumental music during their CCA Performing Arts sessions.
On October 4, 2023, an exhibition showcased the impressive talent and creativity of the grade 7 students. Their cultural Mizo paintings, basketry crafts, and black pottery from Mizoram were on display. This demonstrated their remarkable dedication which was cultivated during their Visual Arts CCA periods.

During the morning assembly on September 27, 2023, the students and teachers were given a glimpse into the culture of Uttarkhand. Grade 8 students performed a graceful folk dance from Uttarakhand, sang the ‘Uttarakhand Bhajan – Dena Hoya Kholi Ka Ganesha’, and delighted the audience with traditional Uttarakhandi folk music played on instruments. These students had the opportunity to learn dance, vocal music, and instrumental music from Uttarakhand during their CCA Performing Arts sessions.
On October 4, 2023, an exhibition showcased the artistic abilities of grade 8 students. Their paintings depicted Bhuli art, Aipan paintings on envelopes, and creative designs on pottery, all inspired by the state of Uttarakhand.
