50th Annual Function @ Choithram School

Choithram School, Manik Bagh celebrated its 50th Annual Function on the theme ‘Roots to Wings. ’ Mr. Romesh Dave, Deputy Solicitor General of India, Indore Bench, was the chief guest on November 27, 2025. Students who excelled in academics, cultural pursuits and sports at national and international levels were felicitated by the guest. The School Head Boy, Head Girl and Cultural Prefect presented the academic, cultural, and international reports respectively, highlighting the year’s achievements. A special reel showcasing glimpses of fifty years of the Annual Function, along with the remarkable national and international accomplishments of Choithram students, was also screened. The Junior School Head Boy Jas Wadhwani concluded the evening with the vote of thanks.
The event on November 28 witnessed the presence of Mr. Manoranjan Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner, Indore and Shri Satish .P. Motiani, Chairman & Managing Trustee, T. Choithram Foundation. The stream toppers of the Board Examination and the coveted awardees were felicitated. Nikita Gandhe received the Best All-Rounder Award for the session 2024–25, while Kavya Chhajed and Aarav Chopra were honoured as the Best Sportspersons in the Girls and Boys categories, respectively. The vote of thanks was proposed by Japji Kaur Ghai, School Cultural Prefect.
The programme included a melodious welcome song, a serene Vandana dance, and a powerful dance drama on Savitribai Phule, depicting her pioneering role in women’s education. The Nagarnandji presentation, Sufi and Sitare Zameen Par performances, the Montessori transformative journey of the young learners, along with the Minions and Cowboy dances, devotional Jogwa, energetic Western dance, Salsa–Hip Hop fusion brought energy and colour to the stage. The orchestra performance served as the musical finale of the celebration.
Principal Ms. Chitralekha Kulkarni addressed the gathering, highlighting innovations in AI-integrated classrooms, exchange programmes, school policies and curriculum framework and ISO 21001:2018 certification.
49th Annual Function: Celebrating Abundance and Excellence

The 49th Annual Function of Choithram School, Manik Bagh, Indore, was celebrated on the theme ‘Embrace the Abundance in Your Life.’ on December 2 & 3,2024. The chief guest was Ms. Rubina Mejbani, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gandhi Nagar, Indore. The event commenced with the divine Shiv Vandana after the traditional lamp lighting by the guest followed by a floral welcome by the School Head Boy Tanay Mukherji and Head Girl Jamila Kalabhaiwala.
The cultural programme featured diverse performances such as Circus Show, Classical Fusion, Kathputli dance, Shark dance, vibrant Bhangra, and folk dances like Haryanvi and Kolattam. The Krishna dance drama was highlighted, portraying Lord Krishna’s life and teachings. The group song inspired perseverance and the orchestra, with a symphony of over 100 students, captivated the audience. A thought-provoking street play on mental, physical, and emotional well-being was highly appreciated.
The Head Boy, Head Girl, and Cultural Prefect of the school read out the annual reports for academic, cultural and international achievements. The school’s traffic awareness campaign ‘Indore Dhadakne Do’ an initiative by the Choithram Trust, has been honoured as the ‘Best Thought Leadership Initiative.’ in a prestigious ceremony organized by Brand Storyz at Aerocity, Delhi was shared with the gathering. A photo booth on the campaign was a major attraction. Under the Indore Climate Mission, a pledge was administered to everyone emphasizing a commitment to protect our climate and promote road safety.
Students were felicitated for their achievements at the National and International levels by the chief guest. In her speech, the guest commended the school’s efforts in nurturing holistic development and encouraged students to excel academically. Mr. Satish P. Motiani, Chairman and Managing Trustee, T. Choithram Foundation felicitated Board examination toppers. The All-rounder of the Year Award was shared by Amogh Shrivastava and Rithika Pillai while Sahil Rajguru and Lavanya Yadav received the Best Sportsperson Awards. The celebration concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Deputy Head Girl Japji Kaur Ghai.
48th Annual Function of Choithram School: A Journey Towards Enlightenment

In a jubilant celebration of its 48th Annual Function on December 6, 2023, Choithram School welcomed esteemed guest Ms. Archana Sharma Awasthi (IRS), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India who is an illustrious alumnus from the 1988 batch. The theme of the evening, ‘Tamso Maa Jyotirgamaya,’ resonated deeply, urging all to transcend fear, failure, and disappointment in pursuit of enlightenment.
The ceremony commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the unveiling of the logo of One Choithram by esteemed dignitaries. Vibrant cultural performances captivated the audience, commencing with an enchanting Vandana dance. The event transported attendees through a mesmerizing journey, from the launch of Chandrayaan to a riveting encounter with a scientist, chronicling their trials and triumphs in the pursuit of scientific heights.
The cultural kaleidoscope encompassed a rich tapestry of India’s diversity, featuring folk and western dances, an ode to Indian culture’s richness, and a powerful depiction of Jhansi ki Rani’s indomitable bravery. The spotlight shone on a dance drama celebrating Shivaji’s valour, leaving an indelible mark. Contemporary performances, an inspirational song, and a spellbinding orchestra added an extra layer of brilliance.
