Students of Grade 5 successfully conducted a creative and meaningful activity as part of the collaborative project with Folkestone St Mary’s CEP Academy, UK. The students actively participated in the making of the national bird, the peacock, using upcycled items. The school provided the base sheets, while the students utilized materials such as paper scraps, lentils, pistachio shells, plastic materials, and other reusable resources to design their artwork.
They showcased innovative ideas and demonstrated excellent use of waste materials, transforming them into beautiful and colorful peacock crafts. Through this hands-on experience, the students not only enhanced their artistic skills but also developed a deeper understanding of the importance of recycling and sustainable practices.
