Students of grade 9 of Choithram School witnessed students of Shinhwa Middle School, South Korea preparing Gungjung Tteokbokki Royal Cuisine in their cooking class during a videoconference with them on November 11, 2022. The students also learnt about other South Korean cuisine from their peers through a presentation. Students of Choithram School through a powerpoint presentation explained about the different dishes popular in our country viz. bhutte ki kees of Madhya Pradesh, chole pathure of Delhi, dhokla of Gujarat, makki ki roti and sarson ka saag of Punjab, misal pav of Maharashtra, thekua of Uttar Pradesh, rasgulla of West Bengal, Pongal of Tamil Nadu, Zan of Arunachal Pradesh, bajra kichdi of Haryana, dal batti churma of Rajasthan and idli sambhar of Telangana. They elaborated about the important ingredients of these dishes, the important festivals when some of these are eaten and the healthy benefits of eating them.
