Students of grade 6 of Choithram School participated in a collaborative project pertaining to UNSDG 1 No Poverty with grade 6 students of Vinschool, Hanoi, Vietnam in the month of February 2023. At the outset students of both the schools introduced themselves on Padlet.

Subsequently they researched and wrote about causes and effects of poverty in India, steps taken by the Indian government to combat poverty, role played by students to alleviate poverty as well as made posters and wrote slogans on ‘No Poverty’ in their English periods. Similarly, students of Vinschool, Vietnam researched and wrote about causes and effects of poverty in Vietnam, steps taken by the Vietnam government to combat poverty as well as the role played by students to alleviate poverty in their country. The students shared their learning in a videoconference on February 28, 2023.
