Investiture Ceremony of Junior School

The Junior Wing of Choithram School, Manik Bagh honoured the new leaders at the Investiture Ceremony on July 24, 2024. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the divine Ganesh Vandana. Mr S.K Mishra and Ms.Chitralekha Kulkarni welcomed the Senior School Council members who were the guests on the occasion.The House Incharges and the Senior School House Captains conferred the badges to the prefects of their respective houses while the Senior School Council members conferred the badges to the Junior School Prefects. The Senior School Head Boy and Head Girl pinned the badges of responsibility to the Junior School Head Boy Aarohan Bose and Junior School Head Girl Anaisha Goyal thereby igniting the spirit of leadership.
The Senior School Head Boy administered the oath to the newly elected leaders who pledged to uphold the motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. Mr.S.K Mishra congratulated the newly elected leaders and urged them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.

Investiture Ceremony of Senior School

The Investiture Ceremony of Choithram School Manik Bagh was held on July 20, 2024, marking the conferral of badges to the newly elected council. The event was graced by proud alumni, Mr. Ambrish Nadkar, class of 1984 and Charul Raheja Panjwani, Head Girl, class of 2015. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and offering obeisance to the almighty through Shiv Vandana. The School Council, comprising 30 members and the House Prefectorial body comprising 48 members were conferred badges symbolizing the responsibilities of their respective posts.
The celebration further proceeded with the conferring of badges to the School Innovation Council (SIC)Student Head Sahaj Maheshwari, Innovation Cell Head Aaryan Bajpai and Entrepreneurship Cell Head Lakshya Khandelwal. The guest administered the oath to the newly appointed council members who pledged to perform their duties with dedication and commitment.The School Head Boy, Tanay Mukherjee promised to uphold the school’s rich culture and vision, emphasizing compassion and responsibility while the School Head Girl Jamila Kalabhaiwala encouraged everyone to celebrate achievements and seize opportunities.
Ms. Charul Raheja Panjwani reminisced about her role as a Head Girl and expressed her gratitude to her alma mater. Mr. Ambrish Nadkar shared his words of wisdom with the students.Ms. Chitralekha Kulkarni, Vice Principal, Academics in her speech stated that a true Choithramian is the one who is resilient, responsible, respectful and compassionate. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Aviraj Singh Dhaliwal, the School Cultural Prefect followed by the school song echoing the sense of togetherness and belonging.

Investiture Ceremony of Senior School
July 19, 2023
Choithram School Manik Bagh invested its newly formed Student Council with prefectorial responsibilities on July 19, 2023. These future designers and leaders went through a rigorous three-tier selection process, which included shortlisting by Head of Departments, Panel Interviews, and Peer Assessments, to earn their prestigious positions. The Chief Guests of the event were alumni of the school, Mrs. Anuradha Chaturvedi, who was the Cultural Prefect in 1990 and CA Mr. Ravi Agrawal, School Head Boy during the academic session 2013-14.
The event commenced with an invocation of blessings from the Almighty and a majestic Ganesh Stuti. The House Prefectorial body, accompanied by their House Mistresses, proudly marched onto the stage to receive their badges. The badges were conferred to the Student Council by the Chief Guests. The trailblazers then took the solemn oath to uphold the school’s culture. Mrs. Anuradha Chaturvedi expressed her overwhelming emotions upon seeing the new generation taking on leadership roles, while Mr. Ravi Choudhary inspired the students to seize opportunities and develop their potential and managerial skills to excel in life.
Aryadurga Dike, School Head Girl and Amogh Shrivastava, School Head Boy, delivered the acceptance speeches, emphasizing the importance of their learning journey, their commitment to empowering young minds and building a legacy of excellence. School Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi, explained that leadership is about behaviour, not just a position. In addition to the Student Council badges, badges were also awarded to the Heads of the School Innovation Council. Ali Murrabi was selected as the SIC Student Head, while Nishita Raghavendra and Sahaj Maheshwari became the heads of the I-Cell and E-Cell respectively. The programme concluded with the school song, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Divvya Pahalwani, School Cultural Prefect.

Investiture Ceremony of Senior School – Flagging off the Golden Jubilee Year of Choithram School
July 30, 2022
To release the responsibilities to be shouldered by Choithramian brigade, Investiture Ceremony was held today in a jubilant way. It was the flag off event of the Golden Jubilee year of Celebrations as the school completed its five decades of excellence and brilliance. The programme began with an obeisance to Almighty in the form of spectacular Ganesh Vandana. The event was graced by Alumni Priyanka Shukla, Ex Head Girl 2007-2008 Batch and Pranay Tripathi , a journalist, and a film maker who is working in a village for uplifting the poor.
Deval Maheshwari and Khushi Nanwani of class XII were sworn in as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. The guest conferred the badges to the newly formed Council while the house mistresses gave away the badges to the House Prefectorial body. The LOGO made by Kavankshi Agrawal of class X representing 50 Years of Choithram was unveiled by the guests followed by an enthralling dance performance. History of Choithram School was displayed in the form of art work as well as portrayed through a documentary during the programme.
The audience also witnessed the declaration of School Innovative Council Committee, an initiative by the Ministry of Education to fulfill the aim of NEP 2020 that would connect the School with the Innovation and Entrepreneurial enabler ecosystem of the country thereby fostering the culture of ideation, e-ship, creative thinking, design thinking and many more. The heads of the different committees under it viz. SIC School Head – Anamayo Awasthi, I-Cell Head (R&D) – Aniket Atwe and E-Cell Head (Business) – Srishti Jaisinghani were declared on the day.
Oath was administered to the Council members by the Principal. Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi congratulated the new office bearers and asked them to introspect, have a vision, accept imperfection and lead in a way that the system works to its best and the people feel empowered. Priyanka Shukla, the alumnus asked everyone to make optimum use of the opportunities provided in the school and learn to accept the diversity, respect each individual and be the torchbearers. Pranay Tripathi, the alumnus expressed his gratitude to all the teachers for shaping the personality and insisted everyone to be the change maker. Vote of thanks was proposed by Archit Malviya, School Cultural Prefect.

Investiture Ceremony of Junior School

Investiture Ceremony of the Junior School for the academic session 2019-20 was held on July 30, 2019. School Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi presided over the event while, Senior Head Boy Harnam Singh Chhabra, Senior Deputy Head Boy Prathmesh Raje Silawat and captains of all the four houses of the Senior School were the guests. Samit Tiwari and Sanvi Bindal were appointed as the Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl respectively. The Principal congratulated the members of the newly elected Prefectorial Body and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.

Investiture Ceremony of Senior School
July 17, 2019
‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.’ The newly elected Student Council of the Senior School was invested with duties for the academic session 2019-20 on July 17, 2019. The Chief Guests of the day were school alumni Mr. JayeshBalani, Head Boy 2011 batch and Mrs. Fozia Malik, Head Girl 2009 Batch. The guests invested the new appointees with their position of authority. The oath of discharging their duties with responsibility was repeated by the Student Council members after School Principal Mr. Rajesh Awasthi. The Chief Guests felt nostalgic and wished the new council best of luck for their future endeavours. The Principal congratulated the council members and urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity. Harnam Singh Chhabra and Jyeshtha Mishra were appointed as the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively. The ceremony came to anwith the rendition of the School Song.
