Mission Statement
We aim to create a joyful, friendly atmosphere in a stimulating environment, where learning is a pleasurable activity and the flame of positivism is kindled to bring about an integrated individual who has a strong belief in himself.
The School Mono
The mono depicts Indian culture and heritage, reflections of which are to cast a child as he/she grows and matures in this institution. The inset swan is the vehicle of Goddess Saraswati; the epitome of learning and knowledge. The swan is encompassed by a blossoming lotus, which is the seat of Goddess Saraswati and is also the national flower of India. Eight petals surround the lotus highlighting the value system of the Indian culture. The petals are bound together by rings, which symbolize the five elements – air, sky, water, land and fire. The outer rims of the petals signify knowledge leading to character formation. The shape of the mono is like a wheel, depicting motion and progress. The lower part of the mono carries the message that the beauty and value of knowledge lies in humanity.
Our Philosophy
‘Children At The Heart Of Everything We Do’
Believing that every child is unique and endowed with hidden talents which need to be tapped, we at Choithram offer our children multitudinous opportunities and a healthy environ to excel and reach their acme.
We aim to create a joyful, friendly atmosphere in a stimulating environment, where learning is a pleasurable activity, where the flame of positivism is kindled to bring about an integrated individual who has a strong belief in himself.
In this journey we move hand in hand with our dear parents, for we feel – ‘together we can make the difference.’
‘We believe in enjoying the learning together’
We believe that…
-
A school is a second home where children look forward to come every day, a place where positivism thrives.
-
By valuing children as individuals and making them feel unique, we are helping them to develop their self-esteem which will assist them in becoming strong and positive.
-
By treating our children with respect and kindness, they will imbibe the values of respectfulness, helpfulness, sharing, happiness, empathy, compassion and reverence for the human family.
-
By providing our children a plethora of opportunities, we will nurture their potential to the maximum.
-
A creative, well planned child-centric curriculum will inspire a love for learning and ignite a spirit of enquiry amongst them.
-
By providing a joyful, friendly atmosphere in a stimulating environment our children will achieve dizzying heights.
-
Our strong alumni have instilled faith in the system by making their children study in our school.
-
When we all work together, parents and staff, our children will emerge confident, independent with a strong belief in themselves.
‘In every child the world begins anew’
Our Aims
We want our children to be…
Confident individuals who are prepared to try something new but are not afraid of committing mistakes. We want them to be vociferous in expressing their opinions fearlessly but on the other hand we want them to learn to respect the views of others and not hurt anyone’s sentiments. We want them to emulate positivism in their lives and take correct decisions.
Successful learners who are able to think on their own and use their cognitive skills in multifarious ways. We want them to explore all opportunities and meet challenges by making untiring efforts. We want to encourage them to move towards the path of perfection, however cautioning them it’s a difficult task and not attainable in every case. We wish to ensure that they are not disheartened and continue to put their best foot forward and strive for the best.
Responsible citizens who respect themselves and other people in the community. We want them to be humane and empathetic, proud of their country as well as harbingers of global peace. We want to foster the feeling of camaraderie and brotherhood in them, influencing their thought process, value systems empowering them to look upon the school, the neighbourhood, the nation and the world as a part of the integral family of mankind.
Global citizens who are able to gain real world experiences and meet the challenges of the world with courage and confidence. We aim to empower our children to lead their own action from the knowledge and values they have gained in school as well as equip them with the necessary skills to emerge responsible and proactive in making a positive difference in the globalized world.
Every child will be empowered with the feeling, ‘Yes, I can!’
