Exploring the Rich Culture of BHUTAN
The students and teachers got an insight into the varied culture of Bhutan in the morning assembly on September 15, 2025. The students of class VI presented the instrumental music “CHAMGON TAI SITUPA” which incorporates a strong connection with their spiritual leaders , the “SERPOI NIMA” the BOEDRA DANCE of Bhutan and sang a song “LA Thosa” depicting a region in Bhutan. The art forms of Bhutan such as Lhazo painting ,Khavda pottery and certain patterns and designs were exhibited which were crafted by students of Class VI in their visual arts classes.

TERM I – CLASS VII
Exploring the Rich Culture of COLOMBO
To develop cross cultural understanding the students of class VII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of Colombo. In the morning assembly presentation on September 15, 2025 students performed “LA CUMBIA”, the line dance along with a song titled “Good bye for Now “, referring to the soldiers going for war. The students also played an instrumental music piece named “COLUMBIAN CAFE” performed for joy and peace during social gatherings.
The students later on witnessed the exhibition having exhibits designed by the students of class VII in the forms of Colombian art, Wayuu mochilas/ panama hats craft and clay work depicting Muisca pottery of COLOMBO.

TERM I – CLASS VIII
Exploring the Rich Culture of EGYPT
To embrace and respect the differences in varied cultures students of class VIII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of EGYPT. During the morning assembly presentation the students learnt and performed the “Pharaonic dance” of Egypt along with an instrumental presentation of “ANCIENT EGYPTIAN MUSIC Pharaoh Ramses II”. They also sang the National Anthem of EGYPT.
The exhibits created by class VIII students depict the culture of Egypt displaying Ancient Egyptian art, Jewellery craft/ pyramid craft and Egyptian Pottery.
