TERM I- Class VI
Delving into the Rich Culture of SINGAPORE
The students and teachers got an insight into the varied culture of Singapore in the morning assembly on September 03, 2024. To cultivate the global perspective the students of class VI performed the traditional dance of Singapore, presented the instrumental music piece “Flame of Forest“, and sang the national anthem “Manjulah Singapura” of Singapore.
The art forms of Singapore such as Batik art, Creative flag craft and Ceramic pottery were exhibited which were crafted by students of Class VI in their visual arts classes.

TERM II- Class VI
Exploring the Rich Culture of RAJASTHAN
The students and teachers got an insight into the varied culture of Rajasthan in the morning assembly on February 14, 2025. The students of class VI presented the instrumental music of a traditional welcome song “Kesariya Padharo Mhare Desh“, performed a folk dance “Ghani Khmma “ and sang a song “Pyaro Rajasthan” enhancing the traditional monuments of Rajasthan .
The art forms of Rajasthan such as Pichwai painting, Creative Blue pottery and Meenakari along with Tie and Dye craft were exhibited which were crafted by students of Class VI in their visual arts classes.

TERM I- Class VII
Delving into the Rich Culture of FRANCE
To develop global competencies and respect for different cultures the students of class VII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of France. In the morning assembly presentation on September 03, 2024 students performed a provence folk dance “La Poulidode Gemo Gemenos” along with a song titled “L’oiseau Et l’Efant”.The students also played an instrumental music piece of the traditional folk of France.
The students later on also witnessed the exhibition having exhibits designed by the students of class VII in the forms of Tole painting of France, Eiffel Tower model craft and French pottery which depicted the French culture of beauty and aesthetics.

TERM II- Class VII
Exploring the Rich Culture of TRIPURA
To develop cross cultural understanding the students of class VII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of Tripura. In the morning assembly presentation on February 14, 2025 students performed “Hojagiri” folk dance along with a song titled “Kok Tripura” sung during the Garia puja. The students also played an instrumental music piece named “Boisu” played during the Boisu festival.
The students later on witnessed the exhibition having exhibits designed by the students of class VII in the forms of Bala Tripura Sundari painting, Supdi painting craft and clay work depicting the Terracotta Cooling walls used in houses of Tripura .

TERM I – CLASS VIII
Delving into the Rich Culture of CUBA
To embrace and respect the differences in varied cultures students of class VIII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of Cuba. During the morning assembly presentation the students learnt and performed “The Mambo” the traditional dance of Cuba along with an instrumental presentation of the Cuban Salsa-Latin music. They also sang “La Bayamese “the national anthem of Cuba.
The exhibits created by class VIII students depicting the Cuba folk art (Havana), Shag art (Havana mask designs) and Sketching pots were the displayed in the exhibition.

TERM II- Class VIII
Exploring the Rich Culture of KARNATAKA
To embrace and respect the differences in varied cultures students of class VIII immersed themselves into exploring the culture of Karnataka. During the morning assembly presentation the students learnt and performed the traditional folk dance of Karnataka along with an instrumental presentation “Nadaswaram”. They also sang “Channappa Channegowda” a traditional song of Karnataka.
The exhibits created by class VIII students depicting the culture of Karnataka displaying Chittara paintings, Yakshagana Mask designs and Traditional jewellery made of clay.
