Students of grade 4 of Choithram School participated in a collaborative project titled ‘Cultures Galore’ with grade 5 students of DPS STS School, Dhaka, Bangladesh in the month of November – December 2023. Students of Choithram School prepared doodles on the theme ‘l Love my City Indore’. They researched about historical monuments of their state – Madhya Pradesh, drew / pasted a picture and wrote few lines about them. They presented Nimadi song of their state and performed Norta folk dance of Bundelkhand of their state. The students through hands-on-experience gained better understanding of the traditional handicraft ‘Bagh Print’ which has originated in Bagh village lying in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, Students of DPS prepared doodles on the theme ‘I Love My City Dhaka’. They researched about historical monuments of their city Dhaka and prepared charts. They presented folk song and folk dance of their country.
