CLASS I-V

Dear Parents,

School uniform teaches a student to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance. It promotes loyalty and oneness amongst them. The school has approved a well designed uniform for its students and it expects that it is worn and carried out in the same spirit.
Students are expected to follow certain code of conduct associated with the uniform.
1. All the students are required to attend the school in full uniform regularly. Spruced up appearance makes on look bright and elegant. Uniform should be of good fit and not oversized.
2. The pattern /uniform have to be strictly adhered followed. Otherwise the uniform needs to be tailored again.
3. The boys in the primary block have shorts as their uniform in summer. They wouldn’t be allowed to wear knee length Bermudas . The length of the shorts should be 3 inches above the knee.
4. The length of the skirt for girls is one inch above the knee. Kindly get the same corrected with the uniform of your ward.
5. It is expected that the students wear neat and properly ironed clothes.
6. Velcro shoes are not allowed. The students have to wear black shoes with laces.
7. It has been observed that few of the students are reaching late to school . kindly note that the timings for the classes in primary section are:

In this session, 2017-18, we are providing range of activities to develop students’ hobbies. Every student has to opt for one indoor activity from the option given.

However the outdoor activities will be common for all the students of class I & II. The students will be trained to develop basic skills that a person needs to acquire to be physically fit and game interest in particular sports as they move in the higher grades. The students will be playing football, basketball, yoga, kho- kho and cricket on the rotation basis.

In the camp students will be involved in many cultural and art & craft activities. There will be many physical activities too, for which physical fitness of the ward is essential. If you find your ward fit for the same, please send your consent to the class teacher to register his/ her name for the camp along with registration fees.

Dear parents

The school has established various clubs in recent years to promote critical, analytical and creative thinking of the students. These clubs sensitize students towards development of self as well make them aware about their responsibilities towards society. The activities undertaken by the different clubs primarily focus on the importance of sustainable development practices, life skills and upholding high values so that these are manifested in students’ behaviour in all spheres of their lives.

Students of classes VI to X are allowed to choose a club of their choice – Eco Club, Community Service Club, Health and Wellness Club, Quizzing Club and Photography Club.

Students will have to be a part of a particular club for a period of two years and will not be allowed to change their club.  However, the school reserves the right to change the club of the student in case the student does not show any inclination in the club activities.  The involvement of the students in various club activities will be reflected in the Co-Scholastic grades of their report card.  The grades of the students will be affected in case they abstain from these activities.

We hope you will instill in your wards the importance of these club activities so that they are able to act responsibly and make a positive contribution to the society.

Dear Parents,

Children of today need to be exposed to reading material from an early age to enable them to experience the joy of reading. In order to cultivate this habit of reading amongst the children, we have planned to start a system of class library in class V wherein every student will bring one old English story book from home. The students will manage the library themselves, keeping a record of date of issue and return of the books under the supervision of their teachers. This will not only facilitate them to read nearly 35 books in the entire academic session but also foster skills of independent management.  After reading a particular book they would be expected to narrate the story/ character they liked/ any anecdote/ incident from the book, which will further boost their speaking skills. To test the listening skills of their peers, they will put forth two questions to them after their narration. Reading books will also enhance their vocabulary as well as writing skills.

We hope you will be a part of this initiative of ours so that together we can make a difference…

Kindly sign the consent form expressing your willingness to be a part of this initiative and return it to us by July 14, 2014. The parents are under no compulsion to send the books, the exercise being purely voluntary in nature.
