Immersion into the Culture of Argentina
The students and teachers got an insight into the culture of Argentina during the morning assembly ofFebruary 20, 2018 as the students of class 7 performed traditional dance of Malaysia -‘Malambo’, presented a piece of instrumental music on the Spanish folk song of Argentina and sang the national anthem of Argentina. The students showcased their scrapbooks incorporating various facets of the culture of Argentina viz., location, family and relationships, dance and music, art and crafts, cuisine, places of tourist interest, important traditions, beliefs, spoke few greetings and numerals from 1 to 10 in the Spanish language of Argentina.Milo lockett art work, Gonna hatsand clay dolls related to culture of Argentina prepared by the students during their CCA periods were also displayed. Class 7 students had studied about the culture of Argentina as a part of their intercultural curriculum during the period October – December 2017.
