Birla International School, Kishangarh Students Visit Our School .

A group of 14 students of classes 6 to 9 of Birla International School, Kishangarh accompanied by their teacher Ms. Bobby Pathak visited the school on January 23, 2017. The students presented a song as well as common French words in the morning assembly. Our students welcomed them with a dance showcasing the rich, vibrant culture of Madhya Pradesh and a jingle portraying the true flavours of our city. Song by Uttara Kulkarni of class 11 surcharged the atmosphere. The students then tried their skills in clay modelling as well as craft work. They enjoyed playing games with their buddies of classes 6 to 9 of our school who also accompanied them on a campus tour. The students of Birla International School visited Choithram School, North Campus on an inter-state cultural exchange programme.

Choithram School, Indore Students Visit Delhi Public School, Srinagar on an Interstate Cultural Class Exchange Programme.

As a part of intercultural class exchange programme, 12 students of classes VII and VIII accompanied by Ms. Yasmin Khan of our school visited Delhi Public School, Srinagar from May 1 to May 15, 2016. The students participated in a wide spectrum of activities from classroom learning to outings in and around the Srinagar. Visit to world famous Mughal Gardens, Gulmarg, Achabal, Verinag, Manasbal Lake, Kheer Bhawani temple brought the students close to nature. They enjoyed local sightseeing to places like historical Jama Masjid, Shankaracharya temple, Chashmashahi, Parimahal and the Dal Lake.

The overnight stay in Pahalgam and the trekking expedition in Yousmarg added to their adventurous experience. Choithramians also visited the homes of their buddies in Srinagar city and learnt the vibrant culture of Kashmir closely. Our students conducted the morning assembly and brought alive the culture of Madhya Pradesh. The hallmark of the programme was the Volunteer Community Service in Chandharavillage School. The visit to Heritage House, Carpet Weaving Industry, and Sonmarg with a life time experience of being on a glacier on the last day taught students of both the schools that richness of life lies in the spirit of oneness, loving and knowing people of diverse cultures.

Delhi Public Students, Srinagar Visit Choithram School, Indore on an Inter State Cultural Exchange Programme

As a part of the inter-cultural learning 29 students of classes7 and 8 of Delhi Public School, Srinagar accompanied by two teachersvisited Choithram School, ManikBagh from January 16, 2016 to February 1, 2016.A wide spectrum of activities was planned for the students from classroom learning to outings in and around Indore. Students were allotted different sections to enrich them with various techniques of the teaching learning process. They displayed keen interest while attending art, craft, clay modeling, music, dance, calligraphy, club activities and French classes. They actively participated in the Annual Athletic Meet of the school winning medals for various events. The hallmark of the programme was visit of DPS students and teachers to the homes of Choithram School students and teachers on four evenings and getting to know the host families.

Visit to Jimmy McGilligan Centre For Sustainable Development, Sanawadiya, organic farm and Harniyakhedi villageenabled DPS students to connect with nature and become ambassadors for conserving resources.They enjoyed local sightseeing like Rajwada, Chhatri, NakhraliDhani, Lalbagh, museum, zoo, malls, 56 shopsas well as heritage sites at Mandu and Maheshwar. In tune with the school culture, DPS students also conducted the morning assembly on two days in which they brought alive the vibrant culture of Kashmir. Students of Choithram School learnt the nuances of theatre from Mr.SajidMohi-u-din, faculty of DPS, Srinagar making it an inter-cultural exchange programme in true earnest. The campfire on the last day taught students of both the school that richness of life lies in the spirit of oneness, loving and knowing people of diverse cultures.
