Each section of class 7 was divided into seven groups and each group researched about one aspect of the culture of Maharashtra viz.
- location, capital city, demography, main languages spoken, important religions prevalent, history of existence, traditional dress.
- family relationships, important traditions/beliefs/rituals, celebration of weddings.
- dance, music
- cuisine, occupations
- festivals
- art and craft
- places of tourist interest
Students thereafter prepared a scrap book in class and showcased their work in front of their peers and later in an exhibition in the assembly area
